I’ve been a photographer for more than 50 years, and I’ve included some early pictures here along with more recent ones. My main interest is in how people live and work, particularly in cities. But you’ll also see other recurring themes in these pages, including building, landscape and materials, and how people relate to the arts.
For me, photography has been a way to break away from my often intensive other work, to think in other terms than language and wording, and to make the most of a life that’s involved a fair amount of travel.
